Neurohack 2.0 2023

In collaboration with MindSpark’23, the club organized Neurohack 2.0 2023, a hackathon based on Generative AI. This hackathon was conducted online and was led by Swapnil Gite and Himanshu Kamdi, who are the Technical Lead and Outreach Lead respectively. The hackathon was sponsored by Whirpool.

Python Hands-On Session

Team organized an engaging and hands-on event for the enthusiastic members of the DSAI Club and students, centered around the dynamic world of Python programming. The event aimed to empower students with practical skills and real-world applications of Python in the context of data science and artificial intelligence. Participants dived into interactive sessions where they learned the fundamentals of Python, explored its versatile libraries for data manipulation and analysis, and delved into the intricacies of machine learning. The event fostered a collaborative learning environment, allowing students to work on coding exercises and projects that reinforced their understanding of Python's role in the ever-evolving field of DSAI. Session on Introduction to Neural Networks to LSTM

In a captivating session led by the esteemed Ajay Kumbhalwar sir, the Neural Networks to LSTM workshop provided an insightful journey into the evolving landscape of artificial intelligence. The session commenced with an introduction to the foundational principles of neural networks, elucidating their role in mimicking human brain functions. Participants were guided through the intricacies of feedforward and backpropagation concepts, unraveling the mechanics of learning within neural networks. As the session progressed, focus shifted to the revolutionary Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks, exploring their pivotal role in handling sequential data. Facilitated by industry luminary, Mr. Harshal Tupsamudre, a distinguished professional currently engaged with Springer Nature in the domains of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP), and an esteemed alumnus of COEP, the session proved to be an enlightening experience for all.
This interactive discourse delved into the fundamental concepts underpinning LLMs, laying a solid groundwork for attendees to explore this burgeoning field with confidence and enthusiasm. Key topics covered during the session included insights into revolutionary technologies such as ChatGPT, the innovative Hugging Face models, and the groundbreaking BERT architecture.
